Meet The Executive Director

With more than 30 years of healthcare and leadership experience, Trunetta Reese brings a deep passion for service and a strong commitment to excellence in senior living. A proud native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Trunetta began her journey in healthcare after attending the University of Alabama and serving in the U.S. Army, where she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) designation. She later went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Faulkner University.

 

Throughout her career, Trunetta has worked across a variety of healthcare settings and specialties in multiple states, often relocating in support of her late husband's career. In 2004, she found her true calling in senior living and has remained in the industry ever since. After serving as a Wellness Director for seven years, she transitioned into the Executive Director role; a position that allows her to combine her clinical expertise with her leadership strengths.

 

Today, Trunetta is proud to lead the team at Heartis Fayetteville, where she is dedicated to creating a vibrant, caring, and resident-focused community for seniors and their families.

 

Outside of work, Trunetta enjoys jazz music, reading, cheering on college football, and spending quality time with her family.
